L'Ami Jean aka La Maison

Thursday, April 3. I'm so tired today that I don't go to my grammar class. I finally manage to revive enough to have dinner at Chez L'Ami Jean (which we have some trouble identifying because Tyler has understood in a telephone call from Lucy that the name of the restaurant is "La Maison." Think about it: "La Maison" sounds an awful lot like "L'Ami Jean"!) with Tyler, Lucy (Tyler's daughter), Leah (Lucy's friend), "Butch" (Leah's mother - her real name is Elizabeth, if you can believe it), and Olivia (French friend of Butch). A great little restaurant on rue Malar in the 7th. The visa situation for Lucy and Leah was finally resolved successfully and the two of them are off tomorrow to Mali with Tyler.
