Monday, April 28. Cloudy, cool, rain predicted. Today I'm determined to catch up on blog, even if only in outline form. I spend the whole day writing, getting up only to have muesli and yogurt. At four o-clock, I get out of my chair and can barely straighten up!
English lesson with Marina at 6 p.m. She's very excited about the books I've found for her. She says "buy as many as you want!" I tell her those are very dangerous words!
Here's one of my favorite poems:
If of thy worldly goods thou art bereft,
And from thy slender store two loaves alone to thee are left,
Sell one, and with the dole
Buy hyacinths to feed thy soul.
OK, so I would buy books but it's the same thing!
