This afternoon I walk from my apartment all the way to Place d'Italie and the neighborhood known as La Butte-aux-Cailles. I leave at about 1:00 p.m. and return about 5:30. it's a leisurely but nonetheless very long walk (pedometer 12,315). I'm wearing short-sleeved shirt all day, temperature in the mid-70s. Outline follows, will fill in details later.
