Today, Jed and I venerate the Crown of Thorns at la Cathedrale de Notre Dame. The story is that the "Holy Crown was acquired by Saint Louis, King of France, from Baudouin de Courtenay, Latin Emperor of Constantinople, in the 13th century. " It was enshrined at Sainte Chapelle before being entrusted to the Cathedral after the French Revolution. Whether one believes this is the true Crown of Thorns, the experience is quite intense and moving.
