Monday, November 12. Notes from today:
To agency to sign lease for apartment for spring.

-Patisserie Stohrer, r. Montorgueil, visit from Queen Elizabeth
-there seem to be many nannies from the Caribbean in Paris
Anna (daughter of friend Marie) arrives. We have lunch at l'As du Falafel (toujour imitie, jamais egale!) where we have (what else?) falafels!
To Place des Vosges where Anna does a beautiful line drawing, adding watercolors. It was wonderful to watch this coming to life as she was doing it.
Walk back to Place Beaubourg to find postcards, agenda for 2008.
Dinner at Grizzli Cafe:
Anna: brochette de thon et moules, tomates a la provencale; gigot d'agneau avec haricot verts; tarte tatin.
Moi: veloute de courgettes; risotto de "grouper"; clafouti de poires et figues
Note to self: when go back to Grizzli, order the tarte tatin. It's fabulous! :)
